  • Open My Computer or This PC, select your Windows installation drive (C:\)
  • Click the Windows folder then, open the folder inside that called Temp.
    You may use the shortcut by going to the Run dialog box (Win + R) and simply type temp and press Enter button.

Tip 3. Stop Unnecessary Start ups

  • Click Start and type Run.
  • In the run dialog box that appears type msconfig and click OK
  • At the top, click the Startup Tab which is listing all the applications that run when your computer boots-up.
  • Either manually uncheck the ones that are unnecessary or click disable all but, be sure to keep vital things like antivirus should be on.

Note: if you are using Windows 10, then you can disable startup programs from Windows Task Manager.
