In Windows 10, there a new function or feature added by Microsoft is to switch your Windows into tablet mode anytime. Many of the users are used to on tablets, hereby, Microsoft introduced tablet mode settings in Windows 10 so users shouldn’t need to keep both devices (Windows PC and Tablets). As per users need, they can change setting into Windows and switch screen between desktop or tablet mode. Also, users looking for hidden taskbar while using tablet mode or desktop mode. In Windows 10 you can easily hide taskbar automatically for desktop and tablet mode by making little changes in Windows settings. It is very easy to make those settings.
Hide Taskbar Automatically in Windows 10
Hiding taskbar is an easy trick in a Windows 10 computer. Although, in earlier version of Windows it’s a little hard to find hidden taskbar settings. But as in Windows 10, Microsoft has customized all Windows settings in a different way so that users can access most of the settings and make changes accordingly as per their tastes. Step 1. Go to “Windows Settings”. Here is the three (3) different ways to open Windows 10 settings.
- Click on the Start Menu from the left bottom and navigate to the “gear icon” to open settings (Image 1).
- Navigate to the right-bottom to the notification icon and then click to “All settings“.
- Simply use the keyboard combination “Win + I” and it will open Windows 10 settings on your screen.
Step 2. Select “Personalization” from the Windows settings screen.
Step 3. From the left pane on the screen navigate and click on “Taskbar”.
Step 4. From the right panel on the screen, turn the radio button ON by toggle the radio button under “Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode” and under “Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode”.
Step 5. After doing the above all settings, it will be in effect immediately in your windows 10 computer. As you can see in the below image; taskbar is hidden. You will see the taskbar, once you will move the mouse cursor at the taskbar place.
