Hide Windows 10 Taskbar Automatically

Settings to Auto-Hide Windows 10 Taskbar
Hiding the taskbar is an easy trick on a Windows 10 computer. However, in an earlier version of Windows it’s a little hard to find hidden taskbar settings.
But as in Windows 10, Microsoft has customized all Windows settings in a different way so that users can easily access most of the settings and make changes accordingly as per their tastes.
In this post, you will see the easiest way to make taskbar settings, by which Windows 10 taskbar will be hidden automatically when not in use.
Follow the steps given below:
Step 1. First, go to the Windows 10 Settings app.
Here are three (3) different methods to open Windows 10 settings.
- Click on the Start Menu from the bottom left and navigate to the Gear Icon to open settings
- Navigate to the bottom right of the notification icon and then click on All settings
- Simply use the keyboard shortcut Win + I and it will open the Windows 10 settings app on your screen
Step 2. Select Personalization from the Windows settings screen.
Step 3. From the left pane of the screen, navigate to and click on the Taskbar
Step 4. From the right panel of the screen, toggle and turn ON the radio button under Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode and under Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode.
Step 5. After doing all the above settings, it will affect Windows 10 immediately.
As you can see in the image below, the taskbar is hidden now.
For now, you will only see the taskbar once you move the mouse cursor to the taskbar location.
