How to Setup Login Pin in Windows 10?
Certainly, you may aware of Windows 10 login pin feature, but many few computer users know that they have an option to create login pin password on their Windows 10 machine.
Microsoft allows multiple features to Windows 10 and makes it easier than ever to authenticate yourself on a PC. You can easily create a pin, password, or Picture Password for logging into your computer.
Most of the users like login pin instead of using text or picture password as it makes them easy to remember and quick login.
It is very simple to create a PIN password by using windows settings.
Login pin should be in a four to eight (4-8) digits numeric form.
In case you forgot your PIN somehow then, secondary option you have to use your computer password and even you can reset your PIN easily once you get into your PC.
Hereby, there are few steps wherein you can see how you can create login PIN to logging to your computer instead of password.
However, it’s your choice weather you want to use PIN or text password at the time of login.
Follow the steps below:
Create Login PIN for Windows 10
Step 1. First of all, click on Notification Icon to the bottom right of the screen and select All Settings.
Alternatively, you can use key combination of Win + I and you will see Windows 10 settings on your screen.
Step 2. Click on Accounts and then, click Sign-in options in the left pane list.
Once you click on Sign-in Option, go to the right pane and click on Add button under PIN.
Step 3. After, a window will appear and it may ask you for your computer password once for authorization.
The next dialog box is to Set up a PIN (create login PIN) for your computer to login.
Recommended PIN should be only in numbers and should have at least 4 to 8 characters.
Type your desired PIN and hit on OK. As a result, PIN has been setup for your Windows.
Step 4. Congratulation!! You have successfully set up a PIN for your computer now.
To check, restart your computer and use new created PIN to logging into your computer.
