If you are using edge browser for downloading anything on the web then, by default it goes to the Download folder of your user directory in C:\ drive.

How to Change Microsoft Edge Download Location?
The following steps have been done on Windows 10 version 20H2 and OS build 19042.662. Microsoft Edge browser version is 87.0.664.57.
Make sure you should check your Windows and browser version.
The Steps may be varied if you are using the lower or upper version of Microsoft Edge.
Step 1. Open Microsoft Edge browser.
From the top-right corner, click on the menu button (three horizontal dots) and select Settings from the list.
Step 2. Follow below steps to view and change default download folder location of Edge:
- Now from the left pane, navigate and click on Downloads
- At the right pane, you will see the current download location where your download goes automatically.
- To change the folder location of Microsoft Edge to your desired folder, click Change
Step 3. A Select Folder or Location window will be prompted (depending on your browser version) to choose your preferred folder location.
Select desired folder and click on Select Folder.
Your above action saved the new download for your Microsoft Edge browser.
From now onward, if you download something from the internet by using edge it will save your downloads to the new selected location.
