First, settings need to do on the Laptop:
Step 1. Open Network Connections.
- To open Network Connection, need to open “RUN” command by using key combination Win + R on your laptop keyboard. Run dialog box will be on your screen. Type “ncpa.cpl” and click OK.
Step 2. The network Connections screen will be on your screen. Right-click on connected Wi-Fi network adapter and select properties.
Step 3. A Wi-Fi Properties window will open on the screen. Select “Sharing” Tab and below check the box that says, “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection” and click OK to save settings and close the Network Connections window.
By doing the above steps, you have successfully shared your Laptop’s Wi-Fi internet.
Second step, you need to connect an Ethernet cable from your Laptop Ethernet port to Desktop Ethernet port to establish the internet for your Desktop PC.
Once you connect both ends of the Ethernet cable, one of the laptop and another on a desktop PC. That means you are done with all steps.
