Email Arrival Notification in Outlook

This means you do not need to follow the processor to go to the web browser and login to your email. Just configure it once and access your emails at any time, but make sure you also receive email arrival notifications.
How to Enable New Email Notifications?
If you are a user of Microsoft Outlook to check your emails, you might have faced trouble getting new e-mail notifications or desktop alerts.
Sometimes you may miss a few important emails to be read on time because you have not received a new email notification message or desktop alert from Microsoft Outlook.
Hence, this article tells you how to enable or turn on new email arrival notifications or desktop alerts. Follow the steps given below:
Note: Steps given in this article will work on Microsoft Outlook 2013, 2016 along with 2019 and later Outlook editions.
Step 1. Open the Microsoft Outlook application. Navigate to File Menu and choose Options.
Step 2. Choose the Mail option on the left pane.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Message arrival section. Now follow the steps below:
- Check the Display a Desktop Alert box. If you want a notification box to appear when you receive any new email. Leave it Uncheck, if you do not want a notification box to appear.
- In addition, you can check Play a sound box if you want to get a new email arrival notification sound.
Lastly, once you choose the desired settings, click OK to close Outlook Options Windows.
