Manual Backup Google Chrome Bookmarks
Step 1. Click on the Google Chrome Menu in the top right. Then go to Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager.
Alternatively, you can use command Ctrl+Shift+O (Google Chrome must be open while using this command).
Step 2. The Bookmark Manager window will open on Chrome. Now click on Organize drop down and select Export bookmarks to HTML file…
Step 3. In the Save As dialog box, Chrome will automatically give the HTML file a name containing the current date.
Navigate to where you want to save this file and change the file name if required, then click on the save button.
Step 4. Once you click on the Save Button, all chrome bookmarks will be saved to your selected location.
How to Restore Chrome Bookmarks?
Step 1. Click on the Google Chrome Menu in the top right. Then go to Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager.
Alternatively, you can use command Ctrl+Shoft+O (Google Chrome must open while using this command).
Step 2. The Bookmark Manager window will open on Chrome.
Now click on Organize drop down and select Import bookmarks to HTML file…
Step 3. After choosing the chrome bookmarks backup file, click open and all of your bookmarks will be restored.
