Manual Backup Google Chrome Bookmarks
Step 1. Click on Google Chrome Menu to the top right. Then go to Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager. Alternatively, you can use command Ctrl+Shift+O (Google Chrome must have open while using this command).
Step 2. Bookmark Manager windows will open on Chrome. Now click on Organize drop down and select Export bookmarks to HTML file…
Step 3. On the Save As dialog box, Chrome will automatically give the HTML file a name containing the current date. Navigate to where you want to save this file and change the file name if you required, then click on save button.
How to Restore Chrome Bookmarks?
Step 1. Click on Google Chrome Menu to the top right. Then go to Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager. Alternatively, you can use command Ctrl+Shoft+O (Google Chrome must open while using this command).
Step 2. Bookmark Manager windows will open on Chrome. Now click on Organize drop down and select Import bookmarks to HTML file…
Step 3. After choosing the chrome bookmarks backup file, click open and all of your bookmarks will be restored.
