Restore Missing “Open with” Option
Your Windows 10 might have an issue wherein “Open with” option missing or Open with… option is not listed in the right-click context menu in Windows 10.
There could be several reasons behind missing “Open with…” option in Windows 10 context menu, but the most common one is Windows 10 latest update bug.
Many of the users have reported that Open with… option is not visible for them when they do a right-click on any of the files.
The most common reason of this is a change on registry value due to Windows update or changed registry value.
Therefore, in order to restore missing open with option in context menu, we need to add correct registry value.
Take a backup of Windows registry before you proceed further.

Fix Missing ‘Open with’ Option
Follow the steps given below and restore Open with option:
Step 1. Open Windows registry editor
- Press Win + R to open Run dialog box
- Type regedit and hit OK
Step 2. Follow below registry path to reach at the destination:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Open With
Data value shouldn’t be set for (Default) key
Step 3. Double click on (Default) key, then, enter following key value and click OK to save it.

Above action will take immediate effect to your Windows registry and “Open with” option will be restored or added to the right-click context menu of Windows 10.
Finally, now to check, you can go to any of your files and do a right-click on it and yes, certainly, you will find the Open with option in the right-click context menu list.
Note: On the other hand, if you still don’t find the open with option, we strongly recommend you to do a Windows restart once and you will get it.
