How to Check if Windows Update Service is turned Off?
It is very important that the Windows update service should be ON. Follow the steps below to check if the Windows update service is off or on?
- Press Win + R to open the Run box
- Type services.msc and hit OK. This will Windows service panel on your screen
- Scroll down to Windows update and check its Status
You are Not Running the Script with Admin Permissions
This is the most important step in the Office 365 ProPlus activation process where users make a mistake.
Download the Latest Activation Script
The script should run with admin privileges and to do this you need to right-click on the script and select the option Run as administrator
If you just double-click it or right-click and just select Open, it will result in any of the error messages above.
KMS Server is not Responding
Very small possibility but might possible that KMS server is not responding at the time you attempted the Office 365 activation process.
As per the referenced article from MS Guides, they have made some changes to the server and upgraded the CPU and RAM of the server due to the heavy traffic to the server.
You can check the server status if it is in a normal state or overloaded.
To sum up, your issue should be resolved by now because the one in the above is causing this error.
