How to Check if Windows Update Service is turned Off?

It is very important that Windows update service should be ON. Follow the steps below to check, if Windows update service is off or on?

  1. Press Win + R to open Run box
  2. Type services.msc and hit OK. This will Windows services panel on your screen
  3. Scroll down to Windows update and check its Status

You are Not Running the Script with Admin Permissions

This is the most important step of Office 365 ProPlus activation process, where users make a mistake.

Download the Latest Activation Script

The script should be run with admin privileges and to do this you need to right-click on script and select option Run as administrator

run kms as administrator

In case, if you just double-click it or right-click and just select the Open, will resulted to any of the error message above.

KMS Server is not Responding

Very least possibilities, but might possible that KMS server not responding at that point of time when you attempted the Office 365 activation process

As per the referenced article from MS Guides, they have made some changes on server and upgraded the CPU and RAM of server due to the heavy traffic to the server.

You can check server status if it is in normal state or overloaded.
