Step 1. Open “Settings”. Go to notification icon and select “All Settings”. Alternatively, press “Win + I” keyboard combination to open Windows Settings directly.
Step 2. In Windows Settings App, Click “Accounts”
Step 3. Now in the left-side pane, select “Sign-in Options”.
Step 4. Once you select the Sign-in Option, go to the right side, scroll down to the bottom, under “Privacy”, you will see “Show account details (e.g. Email address) to sign-in screen”. By default, this option is ON. This is the reason it shows your Microsoft ID (Email address) on Windows 10 sign-in screen.
To Hide, Disable or Remove Email address (Microsoft ID) from the Windows 10 sign-in screen, click on the toggle button and set this option to OFF.
Once you are done with the above steps. Close settings app windows. Lock your PC (To lock, press Win + L) to check. It will not show Microsoft ID (Email address).
