I added the host and followed the directions thorougly and still it is not activated. Please help. I’m using windows 7
I followed the directions and added the host as follows:
0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com and i get an error message saying “Unable to connect the service” ….please help. thank you
To edit host file, you need admin permissions. i am afraid, your host file is not saved with given edits. Check back your host file.
ok i was able to add the host address and the program now will open properly. However, when i try to do a threat scan the scan closes after 3 seconds and does not scan any files. The report says scan cancelled.. what am i doing wrong? is it suppose to do a manually scan?

Boot Windows into Safe Mode only (not with Network)
Open Control Panel, Open Folder Option and enable show hidden files and folders
Check Startup folder, remove suspicious files, if any
Open Run dialog box and type below commands one by one and remove files from the existing folders:
%temp%
prefetch
temp
Open “Processes” Tab in Windows Task Manager and “End process” for unknown processes
Check Hosts file, remove unknown IP address, if any
Cannot change host file due to administrator access.. Can you describe the Step 3.?

Is this an older version? Can it be updated?
Yes, this is an older version 3.0.4. Though you can update it but the only thing is, doing version update will convert into free trail version.
