How to Skip Windows 10 Login Screen Automatically?

How to Bypass the Login Screen in Windows?

For Windows 10, there is an easy way for users to disable or bypass the login screen or i can say skip the Windows 10 login screen and automatically login directly into their account when booting the computer.

Let’s see, how it works for users.

Many users want or need a login password on Windows computers for security purposes. That makes you feel secure because no one can access or open your computer without a password.

That’s true, because you might have some important files, documents or pictures in it.

You might not like to share it with anyone. But what happens if you are using a family computer where 3-4 people or maybe more users are using a single computer?

Therefore, you do not want a login password and want their PC to boot automatically without a password.

Skip the Windows 10 Login Screen

The following steps will show you how you can bypass the sign-in option screen in Windows 10.

First, login to your Windows 10 account with your current password.

Step 1. Click Start Menu (or tap the Windows Key on your keyboard) and type netplwiz.

This command will open as a search result in the Start Menu search.

Click on it with the help of your Mouse or hit Enter on your keyboard to get the result.

Step 2. A new window labeled User Accounts will open, listing all user accounts on the PC (i.e., I have only one user as listed on the image below)

  1. Click on your user account and select it (once selected it will be highlighted as blue)
  2. Uncheck the box labeled.
  3. Then click on the OK button.

Step 3. You will be prompted to enter your user account password (this is for security purposes to ensure that other users on the PC can’t change the settings for accounts).

Enter your account’s password and then click OK to close the window.

Once all the settings are saved, you just need to restart your computer.

It will skip the Windows 10 login screen and reach out directly to your desktop screen and won’t ask you for a login password.
