Facebook Blocked Website URL to Post & Share on Facebook

You must be running a website or blog and I am sure you got blocked by Facebook to share any post or article that includes your domain address or website/blog link. That means Facebook blocked website URL from posting or sharing within Facebook. You will be getting an error while posting an article is:

You can’t share this link.
Your content couldn’t be shared, because this link goes against our Community Standards. If you think this doesn’t go against our Community Standards let us know.

This message means that you are banned or blocked by Facebook to post anything which includes a specific domain link. You might have a Facebook page wherein you can’t place website link which have been blocked by Facebook. It sounds very irritating when we can’t post anything related to our website.

Facebook Blocked My Website URL from Sharing

I do run a technical blog and this happens to me as well. Facebook blocked my website links to share without any notice. It demotivates when we get error like “you can’t share this link”. I understand your feeling because I have been gone through this hassle for a while.

I got stuck with this error over three months and can’t post or share any of my article/blog to the Facebook even, I can’t share it on Facebook messenger either. Then, I decided to keep looking for a solution until resolved and one-day I got it resolved.

Yes, it can be resolved for you as well, as I did. You can check above image that clearly stated that my website URL banned on Facebook to share or post anything related to my Website.

I am sure, you must be wondering for the way how to do this? I must tell you how this can be resolved.

How to Unblock Website URL from Facebook to Post and Share?

Alright, we will go step by step in order to resolve this error exactly what I did to solve it for me.

From here, make sure you follow all steps and do not skip a single step. It is very important because it will be asked by Facebook chat representative in the final talk.

Facebook Blocked Website URL – Solution

Step 1. First of all, you need to reach on the error page (as shown in above image). Then, click on let us know hyperlink and provide required information and submit it.

After you do this, wait for at least two business days to get their response.

Step 2. In the second step, we will report a problem to Facebook regarding blocked website URL. To report a problem, follow below steps:

Open your Facebook account in which website URL has blocked by Facebook.

Navigate and click on Quick Help Menu of Facebook and select option “Report a Problem”.

You will get a pop-up window with some options to choose. Click on “Something Isn’t Working

From the next screen, select a product to “Others” and in the description box, type your issue.

If you would like to upload a screenshot, do it and check the box “include a screenshot with my report”.
At last, click on Send button

Once you are done with the above steps, wait for another 2-3 business days. Usually, you don’t get any response. Then, continue with step 3 below after 2-3 days.

Step 3. This is the last step of the procedure of unblocking specific website URL on Facebook.

Now, we need to talk to the Facebook Support at their Ad department.

Hoping, you must have a Facebook Page and Ad account with Facebook. If yes, then, this will the most effective way to get your website URL unblocked.

You may require Ads Manager account on Facebook. If you don’t have, go ahead and create it. It is for free until you run paid ads.

Talk to Facebook Chat Representative

Visit below link to reach Facebook business help and support.

Once you reach on this Facebook Help Center page, scroll to the bottom and click Get Started button in order to contact Facebook Chat Representative.

On the next page, tab on Policy & Account Security from the options listed in the page.

On this page, you will find the option of live chat with a representative on Facebook. Click on it to continue.

Now, enter the information which is required by Facebook such as name, email address, ad account ID, phone number, etc.

Go bit down and under “What is your question about?” Choose “Other” then, enter Subject Line and the issue description.

At last, click on the Start Chat button and wait for a few moments until a live agent starts discussion with you.

Check below screenshot which shows a little example of the chat conversation held with a Facebook representative during my website URL was blocked on Facebook.

Once the chat session is done, you will be receiving an email from Facebook support team regarding your issue acknowledgement.

Finally, within 48-hours (this duration may vary for you), I got another email from the Facebook support team, which stated that my case has been resolved. Here is the email screenshot below:

As it worked for me like a charm. I hope, your website URL gets unblocked very soon as mine has done. But make sure, you will follow the procedure as provided and do not skip any step.
