View Hidden Items and File Name Extensions
This article is specifically for Windows users to view hidden items and file name extensions. You may notice that you cannot see hidden items such as hidden files and file extensions in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Windows does not show hidden files or file extensions by default. The reason behind this, there are some important system files in which Microsoft does not want you to delete them mistakenly or accidentally.
Also, sometimes you do not want some files or folders to be seen by others, so you keep them hidden by going to their settings.
