There is a way in the Micosoft Word 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Word 2021 or Office 365 to change default font size setting to anything you want. By default, Calibri (body) size 11 is always on word.

The office includes a set of applications in its package.

The major applications in every edition of Microsoft office are Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Publisher, Office InfoPath, Microsoft Office Groove & Office OneNote, etc.

You must have an MS office installed and use MS Word for document creation or editing purposes. Do you always have difficulty changing the default font size before you create a new document?

Hereby, this article tells you how you can change the default font size at once for all new documents.

Change Font Settings in Microsoft Word

Step 1. Open a new Word document.

Step 2. Select the Font Tab and select from the Font Settings that you would like to make the default.

Lastly, click Set as Default.

Step 3. Once you are done with Step 2, another dialog box appear on the screen.

Step 4. That’s all you need to do.

Now onward, whenever you open any new word document, it will open as per your desired settings made on the Font Dialog Box.

Note: You can also change other settings related to font style, effects and fonts affecting by going to Advanced Tab in Step 2 above.
